V80 Lite 5G available in Sapphire Blue and Silk White. The Sapphire Blue is 7.99mm thick and weighs 197g. The Silk White is 8.10mm thick and weighs 199g. The back is a sheet of plastic composite.

It also has an in-display optical fingerprint sensor. The phone also has an IP68/IP69 rating for dust and water resistance. However, vivo does note that water resistance may decrease over regular use and that any liquid damage is not covered by the warranty.

Display

It sports a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2800 × 1260 and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. It supports P3 wide color gamut and has a listed local peak brightness of 3,000 nits with 2,000 nits HBM brightness.

The big screen should be comfortable for video, browsing and gaming. The 120Hz refresh rate also makes the scrolling and animations feel smoother.

Performance

The phone is powered by 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo. It features 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB/256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Additional extended RAM up to 8GB via software.

The hardware makes for a solid setup for everyday tasks like social media, browsing, streaming and multi-tasking. The performance of a game will depend on the individual game and how it is configured graphically, so any claims of specific FPS should be based on independent testing rather than just specifications.

Camera

The rear camera setup features a 50MP main camera and a 2MP secondary camera, with the front camera being 32MP. The primary rear camera features an aperture of f/1.8, while the selfie camera has an aperture of f/2.0.

You get camera modes like Nite, Portrait, Photo, Video, 50MP, Panorama, Pro, Supermoon and Dual View.

There are no dedicated ultrawide or telephoto cameras. The megapixel number alone does not tell you the real daylight, low-light and video quality, you need to test the camera in the real world.

Battery and Charging

The V80 Lite 5G packs a 7,050mAh typical capacity battery with 44W FlashCharge support. Rated capacity: 6,850 mAh

This big battery should be useful for users who spend long hours on mobile data, social media, video streaming or gaming. Actual battery life will vary with network, signal, brightness and usage.
