Xiaomi 18 Pro : Rear Display, Camera & Battery

Xiaomi has unveiled its latest flagship phone, the Xiaomi 18 Pro, in China on September 2026. The key highlight is the 2.7-inch secondary display on the rear, alongside the camera module. Xiaomi calls it a multi-purpose rear screen and says it can be used for widgets, reminders, music controls and other interactive cards.
It also combines a flagship Snapdragon processor, Leica camera system, massive 7,000mAh battery and fast wired and wireless charging. However, the Xiaomi 18 Pro is for the China market for now and an official Bangladesh price has not been confirmed.

Design & Artwork
Xiaomi 18 Pro features a 6.4-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The current specs also include Dolby Vision, HDR support and up to 4,000 nits of peak brightness. It also features an aluminum frame, Dragon Crystal Glass 3 front glass and IP68 water and dust resistance.
The main design element is the 2.7-inch AMOLED display on the back. It can display information and interactive cards without opening the main screen. Xiaomi has showcased features such as timers, water intake tracking, focus tools and customizable AI-generated app cards.
Performance
Xiaomi 18 Pro uses Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 platform. Existing listings include 12GB and 16GB RAM variants, along with storage up to 1TB.
The hardware should make the phone capable of demanding apps, multitasking and high end gaming. However, for long session heating and sustained gaming performance, you should look at independent hands-on testing rather than specifications alone.
Camera
The phone’s main attraction is its camera hardware. Xiaomi continues its Leica partnership with a triple-camera setup.
Rear setup: 200MP main camera, 200MP periscope telephoto, 50MP ultrawide camera. The tele-camera also features OIS and 3.2x optical zoom, while the ultra-wide has autofocus and macro capabilities. The selfie camera is 50 MP.
The two 200MP cameras are more than just their megapixel counts. The main camera is designed for detailed photos and the periscope camera allows users to be more versatile when taking pictures of distant subjects. Xiaomi’s image-processing approach also includes Leica tuning.
As for video, current specs include support for recording up to 8K as well as 4K at a variety of frame rates.
Battery & Power
The Xiaomi 18 Pro features a 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery. It supports 100W wired charging, and 50W wireless charging.
The big battery should be handy for people who spend long hours gaming, recording video, traveling or using mobile data. Actual battery life will vary based on brightness, network conditions, gaming, and other usage.
Features
The phone runs on HyperOS 4 and supports 5G, Wi-Fi 7, NFC, stereo speakers and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. USB-C 3.2 with DisplayPort support is also available.
It’s the rear display that makes the Xiaomi 18 Pro stand out from more traditional flagship phones. Xiaomi says it can also generate AI application cards for the secondary display.
Xiaomi 18 Pro Price in Bangladesh
The Xiaomi 18 Pro has been unveiled in China but no official local price for the model has been released by Xiaomi Bangladesh so far. Latest Bangladesh spec websites are quoting an expected price of around ৳110,000 for the 12GB+256GB version. This should not be considered an official Xiaomi Bangladesh price.
If you are purchasing an imported unit, please verify the exact China/global variant, warranty coverage, network compatibility and the seller’s return policy before making the payment.
