If you’re looking for a smartwatch with premium features but don’t want to spend a lot of money, the Amazfit Bip 6 is a solid pick. In this review of the Amazfit Bip 6, we will find out if this cheap wearable is really worth your money or if you should look elsewhere.

Amazfit Bip 6 review: Aluminum frame, AMOLED display

The Amazfit Bip 6 offers a premium look and feel to the budget smartwatch segment.

The Bip 6 is a big upgrade on it’s predecessors with a better screen, metal build and built in GPS. Let’s have a look at the main features.

Amazfit Bip 6 Design and Display: A Premium Upgrade

One of the biggest highlights of this Amazfit Bip 6 review is the design. The screen is a 1.97-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 390 x 450 pixels. That’s a huge jump from older screens with bright colors and deep blacks.

It also has an aluminum alloy frame, which makes it feel much more premium and solid than the plastic bodies on a lot of the budget competition. It is thin and light-weighted and comfortable enough to wear to bed for sleep tracking. With 5 ATM water resistance, it is comfortable to wear in the shower or while swimming. Fitness and GPS – No Cell Phone Needed

The Amazfit Bip 6 is a very capable device for the fitness buff. But the Bip 6 has built-in GPS with five satellite positioning systems, unlike some cheaper watches that rely on your phone to track your location. This way, you can run or ride and accurately track your route without the hassle of having to carry your phone.

It also has more than 140 workout modes, including smart strength training with automatic exercise recognition. BioTracker 6.0 sensor tracks your heart rate, blood oxygen (SpO2) and stress levels 24/7.

Battery life and smart features

Of course, the software is the next thing to talk about in this Amazfit Bip 6 review. Runs on Zepp OS, for a smooth interface and access to a huge library of watch faces. It supports Bluetooth calling so you can take calls from your wrist and even reply to messages using voice-to-text as well.

Battery life is another plus. Amazfit says the Bip 6 has a normal usage scenario battery life of up to 14 days. With regular health tracking and notifications, average usage is around a week to 10 days. If you use GPS a lot, you’ll need to charge it more often, but for most uses, the battery is more than enough.

Price in Bangladesh & Where to Buy

Here is the most important part. The Amazfit Bip 6 is priced very competitively. In Bangladesh, you can purchase it from Star Tech for around ৳9,250 to ৳10,200 depending on the variant.

Compared to other smart watches with similar features (AMOLED screens, built-in GPS) the Bip 6 is a great value for money. It’s more expensive than some of the lower end budget watches but the build quality and GPS upgrade is worth the price difference.

Bottom line: Should you get the Amazfit Bip 6?

If you’re looking for the Amazfit Bip 6, buy:
